Athlete from Bashkortostan Ilvir Khuzin - Bobsleigh World Cup winner

UFA, 27 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. The Russian crew consisting of Alexander Kasyanov, Vasily Kondratenko, Alexei Pushkarev and the Bashkir sportsman Ilvir Khuzin won gold medals at the World Bobsleigh and Skeleton Cup. Competitions are held in the city of Whistler (Canada).

"Following the results of two attempts, the Russian 4-men crew showed time of 1 minute 41.89 seconds. The second was the British crew of Lamin Deen, the top three of the strongest was closed by the German crew of Nico Walther", the press service of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the republic reports.

Bashkiria is also represented at the world competitions by Renata Khuzina. The girl competes in the skeleton discipline. According to the results of the Canadian stage, the athlete took the 13th place.
