Bashkir athlete Gulnaz Gubaidullina is recognized best world athlete in modern pentathlon

UFA, 24 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. A representative of Bashkir sports - Gulnaz Gubaidullina is recognized the best world athlete in modern pentathlon. Following the meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIMP), the Russian team was recognized as the best team of the year, and the best athlete - Gulnaz Gubaidullina.

Recall that in August this year, Gulnaz Gubaidullina for the first time in her career won at the World Championships, which took place in Egypt, becoming the first Russian woman in 20 years to win a gold medal in personal competitions at the world championships.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sport of Bashkortostan, the Russian modern pentathlon team is recognized as the best team of the world for the second consecutive year. This title is given to the team whose athletes won the most medals at all the largest tournaments under the auspices of UIMP.

Gulnaz Gubaidullina since 2003 trained in Ufa under the guidance of the coach Igor Shokhov and so on until 2014 inclusive.

For this time the Bashkir sportswoman has more than once become a winner and a prize-winner of all-Russian and international competitions. Gulnaz became the only Russian athlete who won the Summer Youth Olympic Games award. Then in 2010 Gubaidullina won a bronze medal in the individual competition.
