Winners of Russian Mixed Martial Arts Championship are defined in capital of Bashkiria

UFA, 23 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In the capital of Bashkortostan, for the first place the Russian Mixed Martial Arts Championship (MMA) among young people aged 14-15 was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the bodies’ formation of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. Fights for the title of the strongest young wrestlers were held at the Ufa stadium "Dynamo" for two days, October 21-22, 2017 year, the press service of the mayor's office reports.

Organizers of the Sports Forum are the Russian MMA Union, the Federation of Mixed Martial Arts in RB, supported by the regional noncommercial association "Blagomir" and the administration of Ufa.

On October 22, the final fights of Russian Mixed Martial Arts Championship in 10 weight categories took place - from 36 to 80 kilograms. The tournament gathered more than 100 strongest young wrestlers from 26 subjects of the country. In particular, the young athletes represented Moscow, Sevastopol, Altai, Tyva, Bashkortostan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District (Yugra), Trans-Baikal, Kabardino-Balkaria, Murmansk, Voronezh, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg and Chelyabinsk regions.

At the end of the competition, a solemn ceremony of honoring the winners was conducted. The medals and trophies were given to the best young wrestlers by the President of the Mixed Martial Arts Union (MMA) of Russia Fedor Emelianenko, representatives of sports and public organizations and other honored guests.
