Ufa solemnly met FIFA World Cup Trophy

UFA, 27 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. A tour of the main Trophy of the World Cup continues over the country. Ufa is the fourth city in Russia, which met the FIFA World Cup Trophy. It will stay in the capital of Bashkiria until October 1.

A solemn reception of the Trophy was organized at Salavat Yulaev Square.

"This is 6 kg 175 grams of pure gold. Only winners and heads of state can touch the trophy", the organizers of the big Russian tour explained.

For 123 days the Trophy will overcome more than 27 thousand km. The FIFA World Cup Trophy in Ufa will be open to all comers.

"Today we have a wonderful event as part of the World Cup Trophy tour. Being near this Trophy is quite exciting, because you know that in less than a year, a captain of a winning team will raise this trophy above his head and the whole world will share this moment", said the head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov. "We will cheer up for our team. Football is developing increasingly in our republic. We see the results of our FC Ufa".

Any Ufa resident will be able to make a photo with a legendary trophy. It will be located in a special tent in the Mega shopping mall on Rubezhnaya Street, 174. Access to the cup will be organized on first come, first served basis through registration on the website.

After Ufa the football trophy will go to Perm.
