Unique trophy in Ufa - citizens and guests of capital will be able to see FIFA World Cup Trophy

UFA, 20 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa residents and guests of the Bashkir capital will be able to see the FIFA World Cup Trophy. The unique trophy will be brought to Ufa on Monday, September 25. This event takes place for the first time on the eve of the World Cup 2018. The solemn ceremony of welcoming the Cup will be held in Salavat Yulaev Square on September 27.

On September 29 and 30, as well as on October 1, everyone will be able to see the FIFA World Cup Trophy and take a photo with it at the MEGA family shopping mall located along at Rubezhnaya Street 174.

In addition, during the stay in Ufa, the Official Cup will be delivered to the sports school of the Ufa football club under the leadership of the well-known football player Sergei Semak, the Ufa special boarding school No. 13 for children with musculoskeletal disorders, and gymnasium 16 - the first school in the city equipped with a multifunctional sports complex, the press service of the Government RB informs.

The legendary trophy went on a trip, which will be the longest national tour in the history of this project. For 123 days, it will overcome more than 27 thousand km and 11 time zones. The Official Trophy will pass through the territory where more than 40 million people live, which means that every third Russian will have an opportunity to see it.

The unique trophy has already been seen by the residents of Krasnoyarsk, Omsk and Chelyabinsk. After Ufa, the Official Cup will visit another 11 cities: Perm, Saransk, Yaroslavl, Kaliningrad, Tula, Kursk, Voronezh, Saratov, Volgograd, Krasnodar and Sochi. From January to April 2018, it will go on an international trip and return to Russia in May 2018 to visit Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The FIFA World Cup is the main prize given to the winners of the world championship, but remaining at the disposal of FIFA. It is made of pure gold, weighs 6,175 kg and is a composition of two human figures holding the globe on the raised hands.
