Salavat Yulayev’s fifth game in season ended with victory

UFA, 4 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The fifth game of HC Salavat Yulaev in the season versus HC Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk) ended with a victory of the Ufa club.

According to the press service of HC Salavat Yulayev, in the third minute of the match the Ufa players skillfully played the power play, Ilya Zubov succeeded in an accurate point shot to Andrei Makarov’s net.

In the second period of the match, opponents again had a chance to score on the power play, but both goalkeepers saved the net.

In the 32nd minute of the match HC Salavat Yulayev strengthened its advantage - Denis Kokarev scored a goal in the second game in a row. Ilya Zubov and Artem Fedorov earned assists.

In the third period, during 4 minutes and 33 seconds, the Ufa team hit the opponent's gate four times. Majorov, Lazarev, Larsen and Kokarev distinguished themselves, as Linus Umark scored 200 points in regular KHL seasons. Ben Scrivens made his first shutout for the Ufa club.
