HС Salavat Yulaev lost to Chinese Red Star Kunlun in Ufa
UFA, 29 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Yesterday HC Salavat Yulaev played the third match of the home series with HC Kunlun Red Star (Beijing). The game ended with a score of 1: 2 with an insulting defeat at the end - the second goal was scored by the Chinese players in the final minute.
The game was a mixed success. The first honk stopped the match with two zeros on the scoreboard of "Ufa-Arena".
In the second period our team made more throws than its opponent and spent more time in the attack zone. Philip Larsen hit the net while teammates closed the view to the goalkeeper. But four minutes and four seconds later the captain of the Beijing team Alexey Ponikarovsky managed to score a goal.
Until the end of the match, the Salavat Yulaev players failed to hit the net any more. Three seconds before the end of the game, the Chinese puck treacherously crossed the goal line.
The Beijing team does not exist for a long time and the Ufa team managed to play with it only three matches. Before that, both played matches were also won by the Red Star.
