Bashkiria swimmer Polina Egorova won seven medals and set two records at European Championship

UFA, 4 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The swimmer from Bashkiria, the native of Salavat city Polina Egorova, won seven medals and set two records at the European Junior Swimming Championship, which took place in the 50-m "National Olympic Pool" of the city of Netanya (Israel). The Russian national team was represented by 28 sportsmen (girls aged 14 to 17 and boys from 15 to 18).
According to the results of the European sports forum, our athlete’s medal count includes three gold and four silver awards.
Polina Egorova won at a distance of 200 m backstroke with a record of competitions. The combined relay 4 x 100 m was also victorious for the athlete from our republic, as well as a distance of 100 m backstroke.
She won silver awards at the distances: 50 m butterfly, 50 m backstroke, 100 m butterfly and in the 4 x 100 m medley.
Polina set a record of the competition in the preliminary heat at a distance of 100 m backstroke - 01:00,24.
Polina is trained by the coach Khanif Shafikov.
