Ufa native Timur Safin won silver medal of European Fencing Championship-2017

UFA, 14 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The European Fencing Championship continues in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

The Ufa native Timur Safin won a silver medal in the men's tournament of the foil fencers.

On the way to the semifinal, Timur defeated the representatives of Belgium, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

He was stronger than the Frenchman Jeremy Cadot in the semifinals - 15: 7. But in the final battle Timur lost to the Italian Daniele Garozzo - 12:15.
