Andrey Vasilevsky - best goalkeeper of completed Ice Hockey World Championship 2017

UFA, 23 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. Yesterday the Ice Hockey World Championship came to an end. The Swedes became the world champions-2017 and among them the gold medal was received by the forward of the Ufa HC Salavat Yulaev Linus Umark.

Silver medals went to Canadians, last year's champions, who this time lost to the Swedish national team in shootouts - 1: 2. The Russian team won bronze awards.

Two Russians were among the best players of the tournament named by the organizers. This is the goalkeeper of the national team Andrey Vasilevsky, the trainee of the Ufa HC Salavat Yulaev, and the forward Artemy Panarin. Both players entered the symbolic team of the World Cup.

The best defender of the tournament was the German team player Dennis Seidenberg.
