Ufa is again included in "Silk Road-2017" International Rally

UFA, 18 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. This year, the stage of the "Silk Road" International Rally will once again be held with participation of Ufa. The participants of the race will arrive in the capital of Bashkortostan on July 9 - this is the final point in Russia. Drivers will pass it during the third stage of the route, according to the official website of the rally-raid.

The length of the Ufa-Kostanay stage is 876.75 km, it is a high-speed route with frequent changes of direction.

"Fast and technical sections among shrubs and vegetation will not let pilots get bored, while navigators will have to concentrate on working with a road book", organizers of the race tell about the features of the Ufa site.

The Silk Way-2017 rally solemnly starts on Red Square in Moscow on July 7 and finishes on July 22 in the Chinese city of Xian. The route of the race will pass through the territory of Russia, Kazakhstan and China. Its length is 9608 kilometers, of which 4,089 kilometers are special parts. Total, the drivers will have to overcome 14 stages.

The rally-marathon will pass through the cities: Moscow, Cheboksary, Ufa, Kostanay, Astana, Semey, Urdzhar, Karamay, Urumqi, Hami, Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Alashan-Yuci, Zhongwei and Xian.

The project of the new race was a result of joint efforts of a team of professionals from Russia, China, Kazakhstan and France. The management of the rally is headed by the famous Russian racing driver Vladimir Chagin.
