Top-scorer of Extraliga will play for Ufa Salavat Yulaev

UFA, 11 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev signed a two-year contract with the forward from the Czech Republic Dominik Kubalik, the club's official website reports.

In the Czech Republic, the 21-year-old forward played for the team from his native city "Pilsen". In its part Kubalik became the Extraliga top-scorer in the previous two seasons, having won in 2016 a bronze medal of the Czech championship.

The forward spent two seasons in the Junior League of Ontario (CHL) and in 2013 was drafted by the NHL Los Angeles Kings club.

In 2015, Kubalik was the captain of the Czech national youth team at the World Championships. For the past two seasons, the forward has been regularly called to the national team of his country to participate in matches of Eurotour. In this season, Dominik played six matches at Eurotour, in which he scored 6 (1 + 5) points.

In HC Salavat Yulaev Kubalik will play with number 18, the press service of the club reports.
