Erkka Westerlund will learn few Russian words and align defense in Ufa club

UFA, 19 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. "I want to learn a few Russian words. In general, I want to attract specialists with fluent English, in order to understand each other better in my team," said the new coach of the Ufa Salavat Yulaev Erkka Westerlund at his first press conference in Ufa.

Erkka outlined immediate plans for forming a new team: "We need to consider carefully the defense line, we need to improve interaction in it. In addition, if we want to play aggressive hockey, then we need to be in good physical shape. We have already developed a special program for the summer".

HC Salavat Yulaev will meet for the first training in July.
