Russian women's national hockey team was left without medals at World Cup-2017

UFA, 5 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The women's national hockey team of Russia was left without medals at the ongoing World Championship in the USA. In the quarterfinals, the Russians lost to the German national team, although they opened the score already in the third minute - 1: 2.

The players of the Ufa HC Agidel - Anna Shibanova and Anna Shchukina, Ekaterina Smolentseva, Olga Sosina and Elina Mitrofanova competed at this tournament as part of the Russian team.

Canada and Finland will play in the semifinals, as well as the USA and Germany. Russia and Sweden will compete in the match for the fifth place.
