Non-traditional methods of treatment will be used at Winter Olympics 2018 in Korea

UFA, 24 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In February 2018, South Korean Pyeongchang will host the 23rd Winter Olympic Games. One of the key issues of concern for the organizers of the event is medical support of athletes, fans and other guests of the event.

The medical services of South Korea are ready to engage all their available resources providing participants with ordinary treatment, but also with non-traditional oriental medicine, Izvestiya reports on Thursday, March 23.

The famous Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, specializing in treatment of spine and joints diseases will play an important role in this work.

"All the days of the Olympic Games a pavilion of oriental medicine will work around the clock in Pyeongchang, where the specialists of our centre will be on duty", explained the deputy chief doctor of the Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, MD, member of the Team-Doctor of the Korean scientific society of sports Kim Ha-Neul.
