Football and hockey are most expensive in Bashkiria

The HC Salavat Yulaev playing in the Kontinental Hockey League and FC Ufa are among the most famous and expensive professional sports clubs of Bashkortostan. “Dependence of the games on the clubs budgets is very high”, the general manager of HC Salavat Yulaev Leonid Weisfeld shared with RBC-Ufa. “There are some examples of successful games of low-budget clubs, but none of them won the Gagarin Cup. HC MVD can be named among exceptions, which in 2010 played in the finals of the playoffs. But this is just an exception, which confirms the rule that it is almost impossible for such clubs to become champions.”
