Chizhov and Chesnokov retained their lead in International Draughts World Cup final in Ufa

The leader of the women's tournament, the youngest participant Elena Chesnokova (Latvia) won Aliya Aminova with a score of 5: 0 and kept the first line with 24 points. Aigul Idrisova with 20 points is the second. The Ufa native also won the 15-time world champion Zoe Golubeva from Latvia with a score of 5: 0. The third was Nataliya Sadovska (Poland) with 19 points. The world champion in a beautiful duel defeated Vitaliya Dumesh from the Netherlands.

The last game of the tournament is a meeting of the tournament leaders - the 10-time world champion Alexey Chizhov and the world champion Rul Bumstra. They played eight games - one in the classics and seven in the super blitz. More experienced champion Chizhov won 3-2, scored 20 points and was the only player in the tournament without defeats.

Jan Grundendijk (Netherlands) was the second with 19 points, then goes his countryman Rul Bumstra with 17 points.
