Ufa will host International Draughts World Cup finals

UFA, 13 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Ufa will host the final of the International Draughts World Cup among men and women from March 2 to 12. As reported yesterday in Sterlitamak by the current world champion in international draughts in blitz program Murodullo Amrillaev, the capital of Bashkortostan will become for a few days a capital of the world draughts welcoming the world champions of 2015 and 2016, as well as the champions of Asia, America, Africa and Europe. Among the finalists there are six athletes from Bashkortostan, including the Sterlitamak native Murodullo Amrillaev.

Amrillaev held a simultaneous play on 40 boards in Sterlitamak. There were many people wishing to challenge their eminent countryman.

It is planned to carry out such mass events before the final of the International Draughts World Cup in more than 20 districts and towns of Bashkortostan, including such remote regions from Ufa as the Trans-Urals, said the Republican Draughts Federation informs.
