On November 5, traffic police officers and representatives from the Ministry of Transport of Bashkortostan inspected buses in Ufa. The checks focused primarily on the vehicles' technical condition, the presence of trip manifests, and documentation confirming that drivers had undergone pre-trip medical examinations. The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Bashkortostan noted that the operation is part of an effort to ensure the safety of passenger transport, with similar checks to be carried out throughout the region.
Across Bashkortostan, more than 2,200 buses operate on municipal and inter-municipal routes, carrying over 500,000 passengers daily. The Ministry emphasized that the comfort and safety of travel depend directly on the technical condition of the buses and the sense of responsibility of each transport operator.
