In Ufa, boundaries and usage regime of building ensemble have been approved

The Bashkortostan Office for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (Bashkultnaslediye) has approved the boundaries and usage regulations for the site identified as a cultural heritage asset: the "Building Ensemble of the Late 1940s – Early 1950s," located at 26 Podvoyskogo Street, Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan.

The corresponding order has been published on the Republic of Bashkortostan's official legal information portal. This ensemble's history is linked to the development of Ufa's railway infrastructure. It was constructed between 1948 and 1953, with the complex entering service by 1954. The architectural design followed a unified style: the square was paved with cobblestones and asphalt, and granite curbing lined the sidewalks.

A significant turning point for the ensemble occurred in the 1990s, when specialists from the Scientific and Production Center for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments identified the Railway Administration building and several adjacent structures—including buildings 63, 65, 67, and 71 on Karl Marx Street, and buildings 21 and 26 on Podvoyskogo Street—as a single historical and architectural complex.

The site is now subject to restrictions that prohibit the construction of permanent structures and any actions that would destroy the site or its components. At the same time, work to preserve the buildings is permitted. These established parameters will ensure the reliable protection of this architectural monument and its surrounding grounds.
