In Bashkiria, drivers were urged to change summer tires to winter ones
Lyubov Minakova, Minister of Transport of Bashkiria, has urged drivers in the republic to prioritize safety by switching from summer to winter tires as temperatures drop. She noted that fluctuating temperatures can lead to icy road conditions, which significantly increase the risk of traffic accidents.
Drivers are advised to maintain a safe speed, keep a proper following distance, and avoid sudden maneuvers. Pedestrians should also use caution when crossing roads and wear reflective gear when walking in the dark.
