According to the Phobos weather center, the blocking anticyclone that has persisted over Bashkiria for the past three weeks will begin to break down on November 4. No one is talking about permanent snow cover yet; any precipitation—varying in intensity—will fall as a mix of rain and snow.
For the foreseeable future, daytime temperatures are expected to remain consistently above freezing, while nighttime temperatures will reliably drop below zero. Consequently, pedestrians and motorists will frequently encounter icy conditions in the mornings.
Unlike the near-total calm experienced during the anticyclone—which led to the accumulation of exhaust fumes and industrial emissions in the region's cities—the area will finally see some "ventilation" as air currents begin to shift direction more frequently.
