According to the regional supervisory authority's press service, a business owner fenced off a shoreline with a fence and gate and posted signs charging a fee to access the water. The prosecutor's office pointed out that, under the law, the shoreline of any body of water is public, and access must be free and open to everyone.
As a result, the entrepreneur was fined for unauthorized occupation of a body of water. After the supervisory authority intervened, the businessman dismantled the fence.
