Traffic to be reorganized at Zatonsky ring in Ufa

The city's municipal services department plans to apply the markings with paint first.

At the Zatonsky ring, Ufa authorities plan to reorganize traffic flow. According to Konstantin Pappe, head of the department for the construction and repair of roads and artificial structures, the flow will be organized by analogy with traffic on the Ufa-Airport highway near the "Dachnik" shopping center.

"Cars change lanes in advance, occupying their lane for the subsequent maneuver, and pass through intersection points much faster. This year, we plan to apply such markings with paint; if the effect is confirmed, we will update them with thermoplastic next year," the official clarified at an operational meeting of the city administration.

The third stage will be implemented based on modeling results, with the possible installation of a reversible traffic light on the bridge built in 2016. Without the traffic light, traffic will be two lanes in each direction; with the reversible traffic light, it will be three plus one.
