According to Bashhydromet, extreme fire danger persists in some southeastern districts of the republic from October 15 to October 22.
The press service of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Emergency Situations notes that under these conditions, a single spark is enough to set a fire out of control. Dry vegetation and wind can turn a spark into flames covering vast areas within minutes.
Rescuers recommend limiting trips to nature and being extremely careful with fire; do not build campfires in the forest, on peatlands, in young coniferous stands, on old burnt areas, on damaged forest plots, in clearings, and under tree crowns; do not throw burning matches and cigarette butts in unauthorized places; do not burn trash in the forest and on peatlands.
