Russia will increase insurance pensions twice in 2027. The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Anton Kotyakov, announced this while presenting a strategic report at the 11th All-Russian Occupational Safety Week in Sochi.
On February 1, payments will be increased by 6.8% — based on the actual inflation rate for 2026, RIA Novosti reports. On April 1, an additional 3.3% indexation will take place, tied to the Social Fund's income growth.
In total, the increase will affect 37.5 million Russians.
From February 1, more than 40 other social payments will also be indexed. The subsistence minimum and all benefits that depend on it will also be increased according to the actual inflation rate.
