In Bashkiria, former veterinarian was convicted for bribes

The Prosecutor's Office of the Baltachevsky District has obtained a court decision to recover almost 145 thousand rubles, obtained by a former veterinarian through criminal means, into the country's revenue.

According to the supervisory agency, the appeal to the court was due to a guilty verdict. The ex-specialist was convicted under the articles "receiving a bribe" and "official forgery." The court sentenced him to 3 years and 8 months of suspended imprisonment with a 2-year probation period and deprived him of the right to engage in veterinary activities for the same period.

It turned out that the doctor, for a monetary reward, entered false information into veterinary accompanying documents. He indicated that farm animals had been examined in a slaughterhouse and were clinically healthy, although, in fact, the corresponding measures had not been carried out. In total, for the fictitious processing of documents, the man received almost 145 thousand rubles from citizens.

The court fully satisfied the prosecutor's office's lawsuit to recover the specified amount as state revenue. The execution of the decision is under the control of the supervisory agency.
