In Ufa on Pugachev Street, installation of new traffic lights has begun

In Ufa, on Pugachev Street, work is underway to install supports for mounting traffic light equipment, the city administration reports.

Recall that during the reconstruction of Pugachev Street, more than 20 km of engineering utilities were relocated. For the roadway construction, 550 thousand cubic meters of sand and gravel mixture were brought in, more than 30 thousand tons of asphalt were laid, over 25 km of curbs were installed, and 250 outdoor lighting poles were mounted.

On November 10, 2025, traffic was opened on two lanes on the section from Geofizikov Street to the transport interchange, 800 meters long. On November 22, 2025, traffic was opened on four lanes on the section from Geofizikov St. to the Monument of Friendship, a length of 1.7 km.

On September 1, 2026, Pugachev Street was technically opened. Traffic was launched on four lanes along the entire length – from the Monument of Friendship to the transport interchange. Currently, construction of the frontage road and comprehensive landscaping of the surrounding area remain to be completed; these works are planned to be finished this year by Republic Day.
