5 cases of dry grass burning occurred in Bashkiria over day
Over the past 24 hours, five cases of dry vegetation burning have been registered in the republic. Thermal anomalies were recorded in the Abzelilovsky, Baymaksky, Ishimbaysky, Kuyurgazinsky, and Sterlitamaksky districts.
According to the operational report of the State Committee for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan, fire and rescue units promptly extinguished all outbreaks, and there was no threat to populated areas.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the region has recorded 33 forest fire outbreaks covering more than 288 hectares, and 309 cases of dry vegetation burning covering more than 2003 hectares.
