In Bashkiria, drunk driver lost his tractor
The Baltachevsky interdistrict court handed down a verdict in a criminal case against a 47-year-old resident under the article "driving a vehicle by a person in a state of intoxication who has been subjected to an administrative penalty for a similar act."
According to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in July 2026 the man, who was held administratively liable in September 2024 for driving while intoxicated, again drove a T-25 wheeled tractor while intoxicated.
His illegal actions were stopped by traffic police officers, who identified signs of alcohol intoxication; he refused to undergo a medical examination.
The defendant pleaded guilty. The court sentenced him to 200 hours of compulsory labor, deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving vehicles for 2 years, and confiscation of the tractor for the benefit of the state.
