Parents of 188 thousand children receive single allowance in Bashkiria

The Social Fund branch for Bashkiria allocates more than 3 billion rubles monthly for single-child allowance payments.

Currently, the republic has granted the single-child allowance to parents of 188 thousand children under 17. Since the beginning of the year, the SFR branch for Bashkiria has allocated over 24 billion rubles for this support measure.

"The allowance may be granted if the average per capita income per family member in the calculation period does not exceed the regional subsistence minimum per capita — 16,856 rubles this year. The family's property assets are also evaluated," clarified the press service of the SFR branch for the Republic of Bashkortostan. "The allowance is granted based on family income in the amount of 50%, 75%, or 100% of the regional subsistence minimum for children: 8,175 rubles, 12,262.50 rubles, and 16,350 rubles, respectively."

Each able-bodied family member aged 18 and over must earn at least 8 times the minimum wage (MROT) — 216,744 rubles in the calculation period. However, this income requirement does not apply if there are valid reasons for its absence in 10 of the 12 months of the calculation period.
