Raid is taking place in Bashkiria to improve safety of passenger transportation
Today, on the R-240 Ufa — Orenburg road, authorities are conducting a raid to improve safety in passenger transport. The Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of Bashkiria reported this.
Representatives of the Ministry of Transport, together with Ufa traffic police officers, are stopping buses and passenger taxis transporting passengers and luggage. They are checking the vehicles' technical condition and whether they have permits to provide passenger and luggage transport services.
"The raid is aimed, first of all, at improving the quality of transport services for the population and ensuring the safety of taxi passengers and other road users," the Ministry of Transport of Bashkiria emphasized.
