In Bashkiria, rare birds have been spotted again for first time in 18 years
A rare encounter took place in the "Bashkiria" National Park.
For the first time in 18 years, staff of the "Bashkiria" National Park have spotted nutcrackers again.
As a rule, these beautiful birds live in forests with cedar trees. Due to mass migration, they appear in the most unexpected places.
"The reason is simple: either a poor cone harvest or an increase in numbers due to successful breeding," the experts explained. "In the 'Bashkiria' National Park, nutcrackers are seen only in the autumn during migrations, but such a 'vivid invasion' as this year last occurred back in 2008."
