In total, since the awakening of ticks, 6.75 thousand residents of Bashkiria have brought insects to laboratories for examination. This is 69.1% less than last year, Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.
However, despite the decline, one should not lose vigilance: parasite activity during a warm autumn can last until November, sanitary doctors warned.
In addition, the traditional autumn "rise" of hemorrhagic fever is still ahead. Fortunately, HFRS incidence is also significantly lower this year.
