Since the beginning of the year, the "ambulance" helicopter has flown to patients 110 times.
Through the air ambulance service, 46 children, 16 pregnant women, and 54 adult patients were evacuated from the districts and cities of the Republic. In all cases, the patients were urgently transported to specialized hospitals in Ufa. The Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan provided these statistics.
Air transport allows reducing transportation time to a minimum, which is critically important in cases of injuries, heart attacks, strokes, and life-threatening conditions.
Air ambulance services are developing in the region as part of implementing the goals of the "Long and Active Life" national project.
