Sun has ejected new clouds of plasma toward Earth
Geomagnetic impacts are expected on September 8 and 9.
Multiple plasma ejections have been recorded on the Sun for several days, and although most of them missed Earth, two or three clouds will strike our planet within the next two days.
The peak of the disturbances is expected on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, when solar wind speeds of about 700 km/s (almost twice what they are now) will be reached.
For now, weak magnetic storms are forecast, but new ejections and impacts could occur, the LSA reported.
