Six wildfires extinguished in Bashkiria
Over the past 24 hours, emergency services extinguished six fires. All of them occurred in the Trans-Urals region. One of them was a forest fire in the Abzelilovsky District, and five were in fields in the Abzelilovsky, Baymaksky, Zianchurinsky, and Khaybullinsky districts.
Since the beginning of 2026, a total of 22 forest fire outbreaks have occurred, covering a total area of more than 112 hectares, and 258 instances of dry vegetation burning have occurred over a total area of more than 1446 hectares, the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Emergency Situations reported.
