Corendon Airlines aircraft XC 9317, flying from Ufa to Antalya, made an emergency landing in the small Turkish city of Kayseri.
Preliminarily, the cause of the incident was a technical malfunction, Ufa resident Svetlana Khusainova told Bashinform.
"Two hours before the end of the flight, there was a bang, then we heard a grinding noise. The plane began to descend. We flew for about 40 minutes to Kayseri. We landed; we have been sitting here for an hour and a half already, and nobody is telling us anything," she reported.
According to the Antalya Airport online flight board, the plane departed Ufa on September 1 at 4:40. It was scheduled to land at 7:50 local time. Still, the flight "status" section has no information.
