Forecasters named culprit of cold snap in Bashkiria
Frosts may occur over the weekend.
A noticeable cold snap will arrive in Bashkiria on Friday. According to the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center, a cold front is moving from the Arctic to the Urals and Central Russia. These territories are currently under the influence of the rear part of a cyclone.
Temperatures in the Republic will drop to +2 to +7 degrees at night and +12 to +17 degrees during the day.
This weekend, night and morning frosts are possible in the northern and mountainous regions.
Light rain is forecast, primarily in the northern regions.
However, long-term forecasts suggest warmth is expected to return in the first week of September.
