In Bashkiria, diabetics did not receive life-saving medications
The Prosecutor's Office of the Belokataysky District audited the implementation of legislation in the healthcare sector. During the oversight measures, it was established that two residents suffering from diabetes mellitus and in need of regular medication intake were not provided with the necessary drugs for a long time.
It turned out that the women were not issued prescriptions to receive medications on a preferential basis, and requests for medications were not promptly sent to the authorized agency.
After the prosecutor's office intervened, the patients received the necessary medication in the required quantity.
