Burning forest was extinguished in Bashkiria
Over the past 24 hours, two forest fire outbreaks were registered in the republic in the Zianchurinsky District. According to the Ministry of Forestry, in the first case, 0.5 hectares burned. 26 people and 6 units of equipment worked on extinguishing it. The fire has been extinguished. In the second case, the fire spread over 2.5 hectares. 34 people and 8 units of equipment are currently working on extinguishing it. The fire has been contained.
The State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Emergency Situations also reported five cases of dry vegetation igniting in the Baymaksky, Davlekanovsky, Zianchurinsky, Zilairsky, and Meleuzovsky districts.
Since the beginning of 2026, there have been 20 forest fire outbreaks covering more than 94 hectares and 239 cases of dry vegetation igniting, covering more than 672 hectares.
