Mass driver checks continue on roads of Bashkiria
The State Traffic Inspectorate reported which road sections in the republic are currently being raided.
Officers of the specialized traffic police battalion have launched a raid on the following highways:
- M-5 "Ural" (1307 and 1495 km);
- Ufa – Orenburg (218 km);
- Ufa – Birsk – Yanaul (103 km);
- Ufa – Beloretsk (204 km).
The main goal of the large-scale inspection is to prevent traffic accidents. Inspectors check motorists for alcohol intoxication and monitor compliance with rules for transporting child passengers.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds drivers to carry a full set of documents, obey the speed limit, and be prepared to stop for an inspection.
