Residents will feel the approach of autumn as early as this coming weekend.
At the end of this week, the weather in the Republic will change dramatically. An active cyclone will move into the region, bringing a cold air mass from northwestern Russia, reports Bashhydromet.
Starting from August 14 and throughout the weekend, rain is expected in most of the territory — ranging from light to moderate, with thunderstorms in some places.
The temperature will drop significantly below the climatic norm. At night, thermometers will show between +4 and +9 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +13 to +18 degrees. The average daily temperature will be 3–5 degrees below normal.
Warming will only arrive next week; a temperature rise is expected from August 18.
