In February 2024, unknown individuals called a 75-year-old Ufa resident and introduced themselves as FSB officers. Under the pretext of "saving" her savings from theft, they convinced the frightened woman to transfer all her savings, 157 thousand rubles, to a so-called "safe account." In reality, the money went to the bank card of a front person, a 20-year-old man.
The prosecutor's office filed a civil lawsuit in court for the return of the stolen funds. The court sided with the older woman and ordered the guilty party to return the money, the supervisory authority's press service reported.
