In total, since the beginning of the year, almost 100 wild animals have already died under the wheels of cars in the republic.
Over the past 24 hours, another traffic accident involving a wild animal occurred in Bashkortostan, the regional Ministry of Ecology reported.
A three-year-old male roe deer ran onto the road on a section of the Beloretsk — Magnitogorsk highway in the Abzelilovsky District. The animal died from the impact; the driver and passengers of the car were not injured. The damage to hunting resources was estimated at 40 thousand rubles.
Drivers are strongly urged to be more careful behind the wheel. Animals often jump onto the road suddenly, especially from the forest, and a person has almost no time to brake. The situation is worst in the dark; in the twilight, animals are not visible. To avoid accidents, it is recommended to reduce speed before forest areas and on dangerous sections of roads and not to ignore warning signs.
