At an operational government meeting at the URCC, the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Emergency Situations, Kirill Pervov, reported on the consequences of the hurricane-force winds that hit the republic on the evening of August 9.
Thus, in the Belebeyevsky and Blagovarsky districts, the wind tore roofs off residential buildings. In the Salavatsky district, a store's roof could not withstand the hurricane gusts. In Ufa, 13 cases of fallen trees were recorded, and one case in Iglino.
