In Ufa, 13 trees fell during powerful downpour
A residential building, cars, power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
In the Bashkir capital, the consequences of a powerful thunderstorm front are being cleared. According to the city's Civil Defense Department, 13 cases of fallen trees and large branches were recorded in Ufa overnight. A residential building, six parked cars, three power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged, and three more trees fell onto the roadway. There were no deaths or injuries.
Currently, utility and emergency services, as well as maintenance organizations, are sawing up and removing the fallen trees and restoring the damaged infrastructure.
