Mass checks of drivers are underway in Bashkiria
Mass checks of drivers continue on the roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the region's chief state traffic inspector Vladimir Sevastyanov reported on the Max channel.
In particular, this concerns the following sections of highways:
— at the 1307th km of the M-5 "Ural" highway;
— at the 125th and 206th km of the R-240 highway;
— at the 229th km of the Ufa-Beloretsk highway.
Drivers should observe the speed limit, have all necessary documents with them, and be prepared for a possible stop for inspection.
"The raids are aimed at improving road safety and preventing violations of traffic regulations. Special attention is paid to drunk driving and the transportation of child passengers," noted Sevastyanov.
