In Bashkiria, court sentenced woman for non-payment of child support
The Beloretsk interdistrict court handed down a verdict against a resident found guilty of repeated non-payment of child support for her minor son, the Republic of Bashkortostan Prosecutor's Office reported.
By court decision, the woman was required to pay funds for the maintenance of the child. However, she repeatedly ignored her obligations: she did not visit her son and did not provide him with financial assistance.
Despite warnings about criminal liability, as well as a previously assigned punishment in the form of compulsory works, the debtor did not take measures to pay off the debt. As a result, the debt amount exceeded 530 thousand rubles.
During the trial, the defendant pleaded guilty. Taking into account all the circumstances of the case, the court sentenced her to 250 hours of compulsory work.
