Resident of Bashkortostan followed suspicious link and lost money
A resident of Sterlitamak lost money on a credit card after following a suspicious link. For several days, an unknown person sent the 29-year-old man a link in a messenger with the text "Check Alfa". The Sterlitamak resident clicked on it and granted access to his data, after which unknown persons transferred 66 thousand rubles from his credit card.
It is noteworthy that the man knew about fraudulent schemes from the media and acquaintances, but still fell for the scammers' trick. A criminal case has been initiated.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bashkortostan once again reminds: do not follow links from unknown persons, do not share codes from SMS, and do not transfer money to unfamiliar accounts. If you receive suspicious messages, contact the bank using the official number.
